The importance of images has increased dramatically in recent decades. Images have fundamentally changed the way to present and communicate. This visual revolution will shape the way into the 21st century. 

Visualization is an asset to professions and organizations. Today there is a wide range of ways to use visualization to support presentations, meetings, conventions and conferences. This development is far from complete. The EuViz 2014 conference - the European Conference for Visual Thinkers, Practitioners, Graphic Recorders and Facilitators - brings together visualizers who use different methods and offers an overview of the state of development. EuViz 2014 has set itself the task of exploring visualization further and making it even more accessible to people and professions. It will be both a conference and an experience.  

EuViz 2014 is the only conference of its kind in Europe. In 2014, it is the official platform of the IFVP (International Forum of Visual Practitioners) and will host the annual IFVP international conference. The aim of the conference is the bringing together of the international community with a focus on discussion, inspiration and learning about new developments in the world of the work of visual thinkers, practitioners, facilitators and managers. EuViz 2014 has set itself the goal of bringing 240 visual practitioners from around the world to Berlin. 

EuViz 2014 will be both a meeting point and a melting pot of the visual community of entrepreneurs, professionals and executives from around the world. EuViz 2014 is about joining the dots - between theory and practice, between individual visualization disciplines and between the demands of the industry and the personal skills and talents of the visualizer. There will also be networking opportunities between the pioneers of the scene, career changers and newbies.
